Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z TriFold are getting new software updates

Earlier today, Samsung released the latest security patch for Android smartphones. The Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25 FE, were the first devices to receive the update. Now, the update has also been rolled out to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z TriFold.

The February 2026 security patch is currently available for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in South Korea with firmware version F966NKSS8AZB2. The update has a download size of 532.85MB. The Galaxy Z TriFold is receiving the update with firmware version F968NKSS3AZB2, and the download size is 528.56MB. Aside from the updated security patch, the official changelog does not mention any additional improvements or new features.

If you own either of these devices in South Korea, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. Once the update has been downloaded, tap Install now to begin the installation process. The process takes a few minutes and will restart your device.

Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to other markets over the next few days. Additional Galaxy devices may also receive the February 2026 security update soon.
